Sebastia
Located 10 kilometers to the northwest of Nablus is the ancient royal city of Sebastia. It is best reached from Nablus via the magnificent colonnaded street that leads to the top of a hill.

In the Samarian hills lie the ruins of the royal Herodian city of Sebastia. A huge Roman Theater, where Salome is said to have performed her notorious dance, and a famous colonnaded street are some of the best preserved ruins.

The walk through the Sebastia ruins offers a breathtaking panorama.
